WANNA RIDE PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT & MEMORIAL RIDE
🌲 RULES OF THE TRAIL 🌲
COWBOY CHARACTER PLEDGE As proud stewards of the Laramie area's gorgeous outdoors (and people who don't want to explain to their grandkids why all the pretty places disappeared), we pledge to:
Follow Leave No Trace principles
Stay on designated trails (no matter how tempting that "shortcut" looks)
Pack out what you pack in
Respect wildlife
Preserve our wild spaces for future generations
Embrace the Cowboy Character code of ethics
EVENT TIMELINE (AKA The "When to Be Where" Guide)

Raffle Drawing: Approximately 3:30 PM (Cross your fingers, do your lucky dance)
SCAVENGER HUNT GUIDELINES
Each team gets their super-secret mission list at registration
Complete as many missions as you choose (overachievers welcome)
Document your adventures with photos (yes, the "stuck in mud" shots count)
Return to Base Camp for judging
All photos must be timestamped from event day (sorry, that awesome shot from last summer doesn't count)
TRAIL ETIQUETTE (Or: How to Play Nice with Others)
Yield to other teams when appropriate (sharing is caring)
If you see a crowd heading one way, maybe be a trendsetter and go another direction
Keep the communication positive (save the trash talk for your buddies' rigs)
Our volunteers are awesome - treat them that way! They traded their Saturday couch time for this
PRIZE STOPS
Look for the Wanna Ride Goose Signs (yes, we said goose - roll with it)
Prizes are attached to the back of each sign (no, the sign itself is not the prize)
First team to find them, wins them! (finder's keepers is actually a rule here)
SAFETY FIRST (Because Nobody Wants to Be "That Story" Around the Campfire)
Stay with your group (getting lost alone isn't as fun as getting lost together)
Maintain communication devices (smoke signals are not an acceptable backup plan)
Carry appropriate safety gear (your positive attitude is great, but it won't fix a flat)
Know your vehicle's capabilities (and maybe its limitations)
Weather changes faster than your excuse for taking that wrong turn
REMEMBER
This is a fun event supporting scholarships and trail maintenance
No prize is worth risking safety (your Instagram followers will understand)
Courtesy and respect make the day better for everyone
Photos submitted after 3:00 PM won't count (we're punctual, not mean)
Smile! You're making memories and supporting a great cause! Plus, mud looks better with a grin
